We’re here for Spring Break with our kids and wanted something simple after a day at the zoo We read reviews and the Port sounded good. We ordered and sat down right away. We had a delicious Caesar salad that even my kids devoured. And then we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our pizza. I’ve been in the restaurant business as a manager my whole adult life so I realize it’s imperative you give people an accurate wait time. If it takes over 45 minutes (and that’s being generous) to get a pizza, you’re doing something wrong. We would have definitely gone elsewhere had we known it would take so long but no heads up was given. And maybe we would have gotten over it had the pizza been even slightly good but it was terrible. Our 7 and 9 year old didn’t even want to eat it.

LOUD! But that's also part of this places charm. Pizza is good, great beer selection, sides are tasty, games for the kids, outdoor seating, and staff is as friendly and courteous as they can be despite how busy it always is. The Bottle Shop is amazing! And staff there are very knowledgeable.

Absolutely my favorite pizza in California, period. Everyone I bring here lives this place. The pizza is amazing and great value for the price. They have their brewery and also offer beers from other local breweries. My favorite beer is the Swami IPA, amazing flavor. This location is close to the beach, so after dinner we go for a walk in the beach.

If you’re looking for a quiet Italian restaurant, don’t go to Pizza Port. On the other hand, if you want a family friendly pizza place with reasonably priced and delicious pizza, Port is your place. In addition to the pizza, we also tried the kale salad with pomegranate seeds which was to die for. Will definitely be back for more of everything.

I'm always on the lookout for a great beer selection, as well as great beer in general. Both of those things are true at Pizza Port. The atmosphere is phenomenal, so many spots to talk or hang out at in the facility. Great location. Awesome staff. Overall amazing experience.
