I did talk to someone and they explained the situation and even told me how it is hopefully permanently rectified.  Great communication from for customer satisfaction.  And the beignets are quite good, I prefer them over the place that's more famous for them.  --Original review Their beignet fryer seems to be from the same company as McDonalds ice cream machine as it breaks down too often, but they are great when it is working.

Excellent place to meet with friends and enjoy conversation, while also partaking in great pastries, coffees, and teas. I come to PJs at least twice weekly, if not more often. The staff is friendly, and it's always clean. Great atmosphere! Service is slow, though.Food: 5/5

Love that there is a PJ’s right by our house!! We are stopping here at least 3-4 times a week now! Ppl are friendly most of the time. Saturday crew this morning3.6.21 was not as warm and friendly as the staff during the week. Very short and was rushing to hurry up with our order.  Update: I went again this morning 3.8.21 and everyone was super sweet and complimentary! The young lady added my points this am as well. I will visit frequently! Coffee is awesome!

I LOVE PJ's coffee. This was my second time in the New Orleans area so I had to buy a bunch more of my whole bean Southern Pecan bagged coffee. It has the best, strongest flavor.  Their espresso is very smooth and has a roasted nuts flavor. It's so good no matter the drink you order.

We have been coming to the Hwy 59/Hwy 190 location for a few months now, and I have enjoyed the coffee and service very much. But, today I really got impressed...we usually come on Wed night when they are not very busy. Today though, we stopped in before going to church and these guys got SLAMMED! I was shocked at the number of foot traffic and drive through business and these kids flew to fill the orders... I mean nobody was kept waiting. I was truly awed by these baristas getting the job done... and I didn't see anyone come back with a complaint or goofed up order.  My compliments to these kids for staying on top of their business. Thank you, PJ's on Girod St. corner or Hwy's 59 & 190

Fast and friendly but my drink is hit or miss. Sometimes the vanilla velvet is perfect other times it's watered down no sugar taste.

Really love PJs!  Being from here I love their coffee and the flair of the building much more than Starbucks.  The service is always a bit more upbeat as well and that experience is a big part of why I visit!  Keep it up PJs!
