Planet Fitness is known for a lot of things. We’ve got tons of equipment, clean and spacious locker rooms, and the friendliest staff around. We’re also the home of the Judgement Free Zone®, which is a somewhat fancy way of saying we’re a laid-back environment, where you don’t need to worry about that hardcore attitude you might find other places.

I appreciate this gym. Very friendly staff, clean, equipment is in good condition and always available because there is plenty of it. It’s the best gym for the price. They have always been very forthcoming about the renovation process. My family and I were never in the dark about it and we regularly received emails about their progress and the fact we were not being charged during construction.

They were not forthcoming with my family and I about how long the renovations were going to be. We have had our membership for about 8 months and the entire time the gym has been in shambles. Over crowded, loud construction, and now it’s closed for 6 weeks which they NEVER told us was going to happen. Our only option is to drive to another planet fitness 15 minutes out of the way? And we are still being charged for our premium membership, with no compensation during this time? This has been an absolutely horrible experience. We will be canceling and heading over to crunch fitness or 24/hour fitness this week. Unfortunately this unfair experience has left us with a bitter taste. From talking to other members at the gym we are not the only ones who feel we have been mislead or treated unfairly by this location!

Love this location.  Can hardly wait for the reopening this summer to see all of the renovations.  Really nice equipment even better staff.

This is a great deal! $10 a month (there is an additional yearly fee of approx. $40, but still... ), no commitment for a barebones membership. The gym at University Place is huge (and growing), well-equipped and clean.
