Anyone who says this place is clean CLEARLY doesn't actually spray the equipment down for use! Most people spray a paper towel to workout instead of spraying the actual equipment! When you do spray the equipment and wipe it, it's so layered in nastiness it rolls off like dead skin! The staff is only friendly because they don't actually do anything! They are basically paid to stand there. They don't have to clean the equipment and rarely clean the floors. The water fountain almost always has a mildew looking growth near the drain so i wouldn't even drink out of it!! Since joining here 6 months ago i have gotten a rash on my butt and a plantar wart on my foot!! Neither of which I've had in my 32 years living until I joined THIS facility!! And their spray bottles never have the same consistency, ranging from what looks like water wwith a TINT of blue to a sometimes (but rarely) actual blue color!! These workers should have to sanitize the equipment instead of stand around!! And they have the nerve to charge me because i wanted to quit the membership!! I had to cut my loss! Hands down most disgusting gym facility EVER!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I almost exclusively go after midnight, and its a great option as many places just aren't 24 hours. Even at 3am, the staff is very friendly, the area is kept clean, and its a great deal at around 10$ / mo. Even the internet works great. If you work nights or just want somewhere to go to be productive when you can't sleep, this is your place. Couldn't recommend it more.

Staff is fine, but the billing department needs some help. PS if you have to suddenly move out of town, and forget to cancel your membership in person, they require you to send a letter by certified mail. And even after that -- they'll still bill you for the upcoming month.. yes it's 10 bucks.. but it just feels shady.

Hands down the worst planet fitness in Hampton Roads. There's a particular female staff member that is ALWAYS rude. The equipment isn't up to date or new like the rest of H.R.'s P.F's. Also, I'm a black card member, and this is the ONLY location in Hampton Roads that never lets me bring a guest or, if they even let my guest in, let my guest try the black card perks. How can my guest know if they'd like to become a black card member without trying it first? Least friendly staff, least up to date equipment. It's down the road from my house and I will drive further to not go to this location.

This is the best management staff I've encountered! I was having issue's with my acccount and called to fix it. They had to call me back when the manager was in. Lynn the manger called me back and took care of the issues!
