Best Anytime Fitness I've been to. I was considering cancelling my membership due to poor experiences at other locations. This location changed my mind. Has everything you need. Never to busy.

I really enjoyed the facility and 100% agree that the owner has made the best of the small space available at this location. However, I am very disappointed with the closing staff at Anytime Fitness and therefore my review reflects that. I came to Anytime Fitness because I have throughly enjoyed many of their facilities throughout Virginia. My work schedule, since moving to the Norfolk area, has been quite erratic and thus I seek a gym that has late hours/24 hour access. The first day I came to the gym, I was greeted by Liz and she was very welcoming and gave me a tour. We finished the conversation with a 7 day guest pass to explore the gym. That same evening (day 1) I continued to work out to start my free week trial. It is now day 4 and for the last 3 days I have tried to continue my trial only to be locked out of the gym. Again, my work schedule is hectic and so for the last 3 days I have showed up to the door at 6:51, 6:54 and 6:55pm to which I am greeted by a locked door and no employee in the building. I even waited to see if an employee left and no one ever did (implying that they left before I arrived). On day 4, I knocked on the door and an employee even said "no with a hand gesture" to signal that I cannot come in (6:55pm). Knowing that I would show up close to 7 each day, I called the gym 15-20 min in advance to attempt to let the employee(s) know that I would be arriving close to 7. Not once was my call answered (I'm not even exaggerating). Working out is an important part of my lifestyle and I was ready to sign a 24 month contract with this gym but now I am so discouraged that I don't even want to continue my 7 day trial. I don't want to speak pourly about the establishment considering it is an excellent gym, however my experience was far from acceptable and thus I amseeking other gyms for memberships.

Clean gym and awesome staff. They've upgraded a few things since I've been there which has been fantastic.
