Under new ownership as of 10.1.15. We have relocated to a bigger and brighter store. Come check us out!

Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 15/16 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

Great experience, bought most of the clothes that I brought in and the workers were awesome. They had a huge selection of clothes you'd usually buy for insane prices, but instead here they're extremely cheap and sometimes even still brand new or in great condition. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place to sell clothes just don't get to excited you arent gonna get that 200$ you paid for those Jordan's here you might get 25$ which isn't bad. Just know pawning/selling things anywhere expect to get 10 to 20% what you're stuffs even worth. 

Yes I have traded at a few different stores and this store does lean more towards the younger crowd. And Lakewood store is more towards business and mid 20's folks. Hopefully this helps those complaining about not being able to sale their high priced items. 

Oh and I'm not fake 😉😂🤣

This place is horrible! I went there to sell and they only offered me 5 bucks for 3 dress, a pair of shorts, a shirt and a  infinity scarf which I took similar ones to a different Plato's closet and they offered me 15. It wasn't even worth my time nor gas to go there. When I was looking around there were shoes everywhere and some of the clothes had holes and you can tell they didn't do a very good job of picking clothes out to buy. It was gross. I also saw one of the employees walking around with out shoes on!!! Not professional at all. I WILL NEVER BE GOING HERE AGAIN!

Best Platos closet in Colorado, great selection, great customer service. Especially one of the Employees, Nancy. Super nice, helpful, and made the whole shopping experience that much better. I would rate it 6 stars if i could.

This place used to be great but it's definitely not great anymore. On 5/16/18 I stopped in to sell some clothing.  I was immediately told they were understaffed and were not doing anymore buys for the day.  Ummm... Ok.  There was one car in the parking lot so I'm not sure how they were too busy to take a look at my items but ok.  Anyway, I left and returned 5/17/18 to once again try to sell some of my clothes. The girls weren't completely rude but they definitely weren't friendly.  I was told it would be 30-40 minutes until they were done so I left to do a few errands until I got the text they were done.  Well, I no more than pulled out of the parking lot when I got a text they were already done.  HA!  Really?  Did you even bother to look at my items??  I went back to find out what they came up with only to be told they could only buy one item and they offered me $2.10 for brand new, never worn $60 shoes!!  Needless to say, I told her no way and to give me back the shoes and I left and I doubt I'll be back.  My clothes were in excellent shape and some were new with tags.  They said they needed athletic wear and I had 2 brand new Nike pants, a brand new Nike hoodie as well as a few barely used shirts that they didn't even bother with. I not only wasted my time going there I was humiliated to top it off. I used to love shopping and selling at this store but after yesterday, I don't think I'll be back.
