On my scheduled delivery date dispatch called to tell me the driver didn't get an answer at the door... we were sitting on the porch. For months they over charged my account and passed me around rep to rep and an entire billing cycle to get the credit placed on my Pods account. Online billing DOES NOT WORK, so every time I go to make a payment I have to call in. I ask EVERY TIME what's going on with the online bill pay and I get the same answer... "the system is down"... I've gotten this answer for months. I dread calling. So $18 on my account has reached 31 days past due and my account has been frozen. I call to ask, What's up? and they tell me "It's a new policy". Keep in mind I paid $200 last week. I'm fed up, this is the last straw, but the icing on the cake was when I asked to have the account closed and they ask me to send my payment via Western Union? Huh?!?! Have I ever paid you through Western Union? The rep say "It's because it's a settlement". I don't care what you call it, it is a payment. I highly recommend, if you are considering using Pods, to call another company. The headache is not worth it. I posted this in one of my private groups and apparently I am not the only one... I believe in reviews and I wish I had read a review like mine before giving them a dime.

Pretty amazing that because of Hurricane Irma they have no back up plan to handle customer service since their headquarters are located in Florida. I need to know where my POD is but their website is down and all calls just have a recording saying all employees have been evacuated. Seriously??? You couldn't have had a back up plan when you saw the hurricane was going to hit Florida? You guys are joke!! I'll never use your services again.

Experience with PODS was very positive. The idea of loading and unloading my belongings only one time for each action is a great idea. Much easier on friends/relatives (or cheaper if you are hiring help). No truck rental is required....storage area is covered. Found cost comparisons to be very favorable. They made a couple of time/day changes very easy. All items were moved and stored 3 months without damage. Only "issue" for me was the vague pricing scheme. It worked out to be fair and reasonable but for some reason they could not give me that "final price" information prior to picking up my belongings.

Staff were often rude to employees as well as customers. For escalated calls PODS has set up a higher authority agent called Customer Care Agent. All calls where a customer has asked to speak with a supervisor/manager they are forwarded to these more seasoned agents. Managers at this location in Dallas tried to do everything they could to ensure they NEVER speak with a customer and try to resolve that customers problem. I don't blame them though. PODS has their hands tied so they couldn't resolve ANY issue. There was no room for advancement in this location. And anyway, why would anyone wish to be part of this environment. Attendance at this location: So micro-managed your time on/off the phones, you will get written up for taking a 16 minute break when you are late for a 15 minute break. Same was employed for 30 minutes long lunch. We lost a lot of great employees just due to these tricky issues. PODS in this location was losing so many agents they constantly conducted training classes for new employees. I admit, I hated every minute of my employment here. The economy was very different than it is now and few companies were hiring at this time. The most favorite thing supervisors did in Dallas was to try to outdress customer reps clothing attire. It was like a runway show between supervisors parading up and down the aisles in the call center. But don't try to out do them. They wore clothes they would not allow regular reps to wear. As a whole, most warehouse managers at individual locations, where PODS are stored, also didn't resolve issues. They only made them worse or not resolve issue at all. They were hardly concerned about how they handled the PODS containers on the fork lifts. This is one of the main reason customers items were damaged when they were delivered to a customers new home location. The drivers always ran the trucks REAL hard. Often driving like mad men. In the many times I was able to witness this at our Dallas location call center which was in the same building this locations warehouse was, they were witnessed driving way too fast the the parking lot. I have also seen them riding around town speeding above the posted speed limits. There was a report once that in our city of Dallas, one driver was immediately terminated after he took a corner too fast and his container came off the truck and spilled, damaging the POD and the customers belongings in that intersection. I remember hearing PODS settled out of court with this customer. I'm not surprised. Two employees were also terminated when it was discovered they were having a relationship outside of the call center. One week I had a stomach flue. I was written up for leaving my station too often to use the restroom. Morale was constantly challenged with stupid, non-human rules and regulations and how we were treated my management here in Dallas and from the main call center in Clearwater, FL. I don't even care about letting you know of all these terrible issues and believe me there are many others, because I know these issues are continuing across the nation. And in response to how employees are treated at their main call center in Clearwater, FL. I can only bet their agents are treated the same way that we were hear in Dallas. Oh, one more thing. This should concern every new customer and those who have their container(s) already in a storage center. Pay your bill on time and in full each and every month. PODS does not make payment arrangements. They make more money auctioning your POD off to strangers if you do not pay your bill on time every month. It's all about the money first. Customer dis-service is the name of the game here. There are many services like PODS now. I recommend you do some research and choose from one of them. I hope this all gets published and that my share will help at least one family.
