Amazing views of Mt Rainier and a cute little lighthouse.  Very picturesque.  Black sand beach with driftwood.  Nice small walk to the beach from the upper parking lot.

Friends & I rent one of the keepers quarters, it's a quick ferry ride to Vashon and I mini vacation from our busy lives.  The home is well kept, the beach is right out the front door - it's a peaceful retreat!

Nice beach, clean clear water.  Only downside is the  $28 for the ferry over to the island.

Nice short hike down to the lighthouse from the upper parking lot.  The trail could use a little trimming back especially with the stinging nettle leaning towards the trail. Good views across the water towards Seattle.
