We began our journey with this business 15-16 months ago and every 3-4 months we take it in for the SAME exact problem.  Each time we are given an excuse as to why it isn't fixed.  They have a new sign on the Nicholasville Rd shop that states "We can repair any problem "(or something to that nature).  We spent thousands of dollars the first time in hopes that the transmission/and or computer was indeed fixed.  This is our only vehicle so for that to be out is quite the inconvenience especially when the vehicle is going back in for what should have been repaired back over a year ago.  Now, mind you, we haven't had to repay the last 5-6 times we have had to take the car back in, but we have to pay for a rental each time and have had to miss work due to this issue.  Each time we are approached with they are not quite sure what the issue is.  We have met multiple people who have told us their similar stories with this place.  2 reputable business in Nicholasville recommended this place.  I would definitely NOT!!  I gave the owner a chance to prove his business, because the other guy who dealt with it is no longer at this location. In less than 2 weeks we had to have the car towed back to Powers.  We do not have the thousands of dollars to pay another place to repair what they should have.  By the time the warranty runs out, they tell you that it is our problem.  There is always an excuse. They have caused so much stress and we have spent so much money to rent vehicles since they keep the car for weeks at a time.  We are going on 2 weeks now and still no car and it not repaired correctly.  So, how can one trust this place when you've been scammed for the last 15-16 months??  We trust these places with our vehicles and can't trust them due to what actually happens versus what they say??

Great place to do business!   Have had work done twice. Both time work was done as requested, quoted price was the final price and the customer service is top notch.  Just moved here in May and I think I have found my new garage.

Paid $2400 less than 3 years ago (less than 35k miles ago) to rebuild the transmission on my Explorer, today I'm paying $2000+ to have the transmission rebuilt again at Lexington Transmissions. The SUV never drove smoothly after they were finished with it, it always jerked shifting gears. There is a reason these guys only give a year and a half warranty and everyone else has a 2 year warranty and that's because they know the quality of their work is terrible. I was warned not to do business at Powers but did not listen because they were cheaper than the other 2 quotes at the time.

Was able to fix my radiator and was back on the road quick with no problems and it runs great! Great service and humble people
