As a very early birthday gift, I was treated to dinner here by a friend on July 19. This was my third time eating here and it gets better and better every time. My friend and I each ordered the special, Red Lentil Curry with rice. We each also ordered a carrot/orange fresh made juice, then shared an order of the sushi rolls as an appetizer, ending the meal by sharing a slice of the chocolate ganache topped with cashew ice cream for dessert. All prepared with care and very fresh! Is there a better word then delicious? because this meal was beyond that!

When we first moved here we were so happy to find Present Moment. We were in boxes for a little while and we found we could get delicious, raw and vegan food and we were there nearly every day for weeks! Now we make an effort to go in at least once every other week. Love the menu, the staff and the environment. Thank you for being our oasis!

Love the Food but Alexandra provides horrible service. We ate here three different times. The first two were amazing. Great food coupled with great service. We left with a hefty bill, but because the food and service was top notch, we didn't really mind. Third time was the unfortunate charm. We walked in and Alexandra ignored us. She wasn't busy. Just drinking from her mug. So we seated ourselves and waited over five minutes while she got her lazy ass to our table. From there, no matter how we smiled or spoke to her, she had a total entitled attitude. I asked for a glass of wine and my husband for a beer. Her response was that she will get it later, she is busy now. Really!? Who says that?! To make matters worse, it took 1 hour for our entrees to arrive. Everyone that had come in after us had either already eaten and left or were finishing up. We sat there for 1 hour with no food or explanation. When she finally graced us with her presence and our food, the grilled cheese was cold and dry. We asked why did it take so long. What happened.... Her bitchy response was that there is only 1 person in the back and only 1 burner. Right!!!!??? Only problem with her lie was that she opened the kitchen door and I had a perfect view. There were 3 people preparing food. Because of Alexandra, we will no longer be coming back to this restaurant. And we certainly do not recommend it.

I wish I could write wonderful things about this place, since the idea behind it is so lovely. But the service usually stinks! There are about 2 out of 4 staff members there that completely ignore you/take forever/are very unfriendly and snobby. Sigh. The other 2 are great. And the food is mostly great, except that the portions have gotten WAY smaller in the past few months (I've been visiting since February). Come on Present Moment Cafe, you can do it! Hire nicer staff, people who are caring and loving and attentive, and bring back the hearty portions. I"ll update my review if and when things improve.

First of all, I am not a vegan. Had the sunshine burger which I believe was mushrooms and lentils and it was very tasty. Also had the brownie dessert and that was very good you would not tell that it was vegan and not a regular brownie
