Honestly don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about. Office was short staffed at front desk, however customer service was still outstanding. And really a 5 min wait at a doctors office is incredible. Dr Heller was also incredible, most comfortable woman’s exam and actual conversation about my health, we’re beyond refreshing. Lab tech also super friendly and I hate needles and she’s was a pro, no pain and a good laugh during labs. New patient experience over the last :0 days has been a refreshing experience, I never feel I’m being rushed but always leave feeling like someone cares.
This place is shambolic. It is so poor that state regulators should really look into this practice for negligence. Hold times to fill up repeat prescription are topping hours. The systems states it can hold your line to call you back but it never does. You can't schedule online because it won't let you. Any correspondence with the staff online does not address the issue asking the patient in dire need of medication to simply call the care team number with hours and hour long wait time. They are so poor they won't even respond to pharmacists. This sort of conduct is akin to deliberate negligence. I had an elderly relative dealing with the practice and it was exacerbating her health. I had to step in and I can categorically say that no competent practice behave in such manner.
Love it here. Everyone is very nice, it’s clean, and didn’t have to wait long at all. They offer early appointments so I can go before going to work. I was also able to do all my paperwork online before I arrived. Dr. Bansal listened to my concerns and all my problems. He is patient and very personable. He was not dismissive but very kind and took great care of me. I highly recommend VHC!
The front desk staff and phlebotomists are absolutely awesome. I wish they had a good doctor to work for. I recently set up an appointment with Ashley Howard. She cancelled two appointments, both on the morning of the visit and one of those within an hour of when I was supposed to arrive. On the third appointment, I showed up 13 minutes late since I was coming from a different doctor's office that had been backlogged and had delayed me. She refused to see me saying that since I hadn't been there at 1, I couldn't be seen. Which is a pretty horrid excuse especially considering she had cancelled on me twice at the last minute. She is only concerned with her schedule, not with her patients. If you want a doctor who cares about you and wants to make sure you get the help you need, I would not recommend Ashley Howard.
If I could give a zero I would. Please do not go here if you care about your health. Firstly the doctors refused to fill out my medication that I had been having for no reason. I called several times with nurses who were rude and would say doctor will call you back. Nope no one did. After me having to make several calls which they make you wait for hours to get on the phone with or call you back never they then say to come you need a visit to see if the doctor would fill them out. No reason to do this, just to probably get a visit for money. -This place is disorganized and rude -Doesn’t listen to you and your medical concerns -Wants to just make money with Telehealth visits over nothing -Poor doctors that have zero bedside manner or concern, or actually want to help you prevent diseases -Long wait times on the phone and understaffed This place has gone far far down the toilet after some of the very good doctors like Erin O’Brien left If you care about your well-being or those love one that you take here don’t go here. Covid or not they shouldn’t neglect care and provide poor care.
I have had 6 different providers in 4 yrs and have to continue to establish care. My latest appt, w Dr. Bansal, was offensive. He was quite terse when I voiced my frustration abt nurse Howard a previous provider and the lack of education of a weight loss prescription. He eventually 'saw the confusion' his words after reading an email exchange abt sending the rx and process of submitting to insurance for possible coverage. He did not apologize for it. It has soured me in our future interactions and I will only seek him out to provide rx, bloodwork, and referrals. I do not feel comfortable in seeking guidance from him for my health concerns.
The check in staff was great! Stacey B who did my blood draw was professional, efficient, and friendly! It didn’t hurt at all!! Evelyn the nurse was also so friendly and helpful. Dr. Bansal is great and takes time to really listen to me. He is friendly and professional, and such a great doctor!
Absolutely horrible. I take two medications, one for insomnia and one for ADHD, both of which I have been on for years with, no problems whatsoever. The doctor prescribed them for a few months then abruptly decided not to prescribe them anymore because he said he suspected I was abusing them. I take my meds exactly as prescribed. How dare he make an accusation like that? He basically washed his hands of me. Also, wait times are insanely long and good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. If you are on hold more than 30 minutes, the call drops and you have to call back and start over. Some of the desk staff are exceptionally rude. I am so glad I no longer have to deal with these people. I have a new doctor now and she is great.
Dr.Remy is the prototype for physician/patient interaction. Technically, she knows her stuff and communicates well. I have always found her excellent dealing with my concerns and guiding me through a current problem. Interpersonally, she’s caring sensitive. If I draw attention to something that I still need or did not understand she apologizes ! & explains.Finally, I get a treatment summary & plan asI’m leaving her office I get to review it and questions before I leave.
I would share zero stars if I could. It's actually that bad. I honestly don't and have never complained or written a google review before. But, the experience I had with this practice was the absolute worst. They don't communicate with you and conspire to charge $$$ for normal STD tests I don't really mind being public about this honestly. They make you wait for days, weeks, months on end before getting back to you and then give personal excuses for their negligence to get back to you. They are not friendly people and it is hard to actually speak with a real person as the machine will probably take up the initial 6 minutes of waiting for the call to reach a real person. I had them as a PCP for less than a year and they did nothing to impress me. I had never seen a doctor there. My primary nurse practitioner was nice, but wasn't super available so it was kind of difficult to get an appointment with her. The other nurse practitioner that I saw was not helpful in calming me down or talking to me about my worries and was the one that coded the $$$ bogus test. Don't bother with an automated response to call a number because I know there's not going to be a real person on the other side because I know I'll only waste 5 more minutes waiting to talk to someone who can't help me.
