Story

Our chef, AJ Black, draws from his roots, including his grandmother's recipes, to create his take on modern, fine dining Italian cuisine. Our dishes have been hailed "Simpatico-Chic," and one critic even named our chef the "Einstein of Food." Our cuisine is always evolving, and the passion Black puts into every dish is immeasurable.

Awful experience! Seafood tasted a bit funky and I knew it wasn't going to end well. Sure enough, less than 2 hours later, My wife and I were deathly ill. Havent been that sick since a trip to Mexico!!!! Not really Italian, tasted more of a Portugal influence, food poisoning aside. Service was ok, and they really love to accommodate children and families so good place to go for family friendly environment, assuming our bad experience was perhaps just a one time thing? $30-$40 entrees so bring the credit card along with the pepto bismo. $175 for my wife and I.

Avoid this place. The people that work there are rude and unprofessional. We had a Groupon for this restaurant 25 for 50$, so we followed the Groupon instructions and called to make a reservation. The Manager picked up and we mentioned that we had a Groupon. He did not mention anything and just accepted our reservation. We arrived 15 minutes prior to reservation time, and when we met the hostess she asked our name, that by the way was wrong . Just minutes after we sat in the almost empty restaurant,and the server handed us the menus. We choose our food,and ordered. Then while we were ordering the server asked us with an attitude if we had any promotion or Groupon. We told her that we did, and we informed her that WE MENTIONED THAT WHEN WE CALLED FOR THE RESERVATION Then she told us that we needed to have 2 entrees in order to use Groupon. Since we were never told that before,and it wasn't written in the Groupon rules we refused to order more. 1 whole pizza, one salad, a beer, and a pasta dish was just enough for the 3 of us. She disagreed and very rudely responded that we needed to order more. Then We asked her to please let us talk to the manager. But, when the Manager approached our table he repeatedly said that we needed to order more. I told him, that the Groupon did not say anything about any specific kind of food or quantity and that my friend used one days before with no issues. HIs response was really inappropriate! He also had an attitude and he even mentioned that in the past the bar tender may have had accepted the Groupon without conditions to make money for himself and not for the place. I don't understand why 40 minutes earlier he accepted out reservation and did not mention anything. We were just shocked to see how disrespectful the staff were in that place, so we left.
