We LOVE Proposition Chicken, it's a perfect chicken sandwich and the spicy slaw is just right. We regularly order from here even having tried other places in town. We've done the Fried, Grilled, and Fake chicken, all are amazing options. Even the salad is great. Local Kitchens is just such a great concept that has so many of our favorite San Francisco options in one location out here in Lafayette. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I love the format of this place.
Wow, Proposition Chicken is fantastic. Chicken is great quality, fried or flipped! nicely with a great blend of seasonings. The slaw is a great compliment. My hot tip for you: get the fried chicken sandwich and flipped salad and share halfsies with your partner. Local Kitchens is a great concept—we regularly order from multiple menus on each visit, and your group will always get something great.
The chicken sandwich was the most bland white people spicy thing I've ever had and this place should be ashamed to serve it. The chicken has no actual seasoning and is just a dry bland slab served with a slaw that manages to taste spicy but with no flavor. The only redeeming quality was the bread but that couldn't carry the fact that I felt like I was just eating mushy mayonnaise. I will never understand how places can get by without any seasoning this isn't the 50s we have more than salt and pepper use something.
Really surprised at how bad this was compared to my previous experience at the Oakland location. It was really bland, one piece was somehow so hardened and another somehow had the breading undercooked inside, the last piece was some of the driest chicken ever. Wish there was more seasoning. Biscuit was good.

Always love the food here! Very good and easy to grab something fast on the way home.
Highly recommend. Its quick, always hot, and the staff is friendly. Using their website is easy if you prefer that to a delivery app. They always run deals and discounts and it's super easy to order from multiple vendors. A local favorite! Vegetarian options: Each vendor has at least one option. You can't go wrong.
The people at local kitchens are always so sweet and attentive. They’ll get your order out in no time and they make sure it’s presented well/taste good
One of our go to’s for quick takeout. My son loves their chicken strips.
Quick service, perfectly-spiced chicken. Would've liked the bread to be a little crispier, though. But my folks loved the tikka-burrito.
