Visited the Public House last night while in town for a basketball game.   All four of us ordered different items and each was very pleased with their dinners.  

The food was excellent and fresh.  The portions were good-sized and the prices were very reasonable for this level of dining.  Anyone  who thinks the prices are high would be sore pressed to find the same quality and quantity of food in a market such as Nashville or Atlanta.

Restaurant was very clean and the staff was professional.  Of special note, the restaurant takes and honors reservations in a timely manner.  They communicated to us and to other patrons the exact timeline our table was on and when we could expect to be seated.

If you are local, get to this place regularly.  If visiting, like we were, don't miss your chance.

I am impressed. My husband, my one year old son, and I all had delicious food. Every dish was superb. I highly recommend their fried chicken.  I usually hate chicken, but theirs is tender and flavorful. Our server Adrienne was awesome. She knew the ins and outs of how each dish was prepared. The atmosphere is upscale chill.

Great place for lunch.  Shrimp & grits are amazing.  Key lime pie is best period.  Gave it 4 star as I'm not a fan of their salad dressings or the little dinner rolls (which others just love) and it's a bit pricey.  It was $5 to add a side salad!   Good portions of food & clean, posh atmosphere.  Great business lunch destination or romantic lunch spot. Meatloaf is also really good as is the pimento cheese & bacon burger.  Service is always good.

A treasured oasis of delicious food and excellent, friendly service!  Food quality is consistent and portions are generous.  A real value and not expensive as compared to nearby alternative dining options.  Best fish sandwich and crab cakes in town.

The modern look was a neat take for finer dining but the Killers played loud over the speakers and there were a ton of kids on a Saturday night. It felt like they didn't quite know what they wanted to be: elegant, modern fine dining or upscale family restaurant. The 2 fish dishes, salmon and trout, lacked in flavor but did stay hot. Brussel sprouts and sides were great! If they could just figure out what they want to be and advertise that way.
