Horrific parts department. I've tried placing an order for rear wipers that they didn't have in stock. I left my number and was told they would call me but never did. I decided that after two weeks I would just drop by again to see if they just forgot to call and it was closed/locked an hour before the posted time on the door. Now, I've called them from the phone number listed on their website to see if they have an air filter in stock and the phone just rings indefinitely with no way to leave a message. Do not do business with their parts department.

Service department dropped the ball in a bad way, took more than three weeks to get a couple warranty repairs completed. I made three trips in to pick up my vehicle having been told it was ready only to find out work had not been finished (or in the first case, even started). Terrible communication from all involved. Was promised by the manager that they would 'make this right', was told they would discount my bill on the oil change and a couple other small parts needed along, and would wash my car before I picked it up. Car wasn't washed, discount was 6% of the bill. Terrible customer service, terrible communication on their side, waste of hours of my time... not going back.

This past weekend we bought a new Outback from Dan Dishart. He was so easy to work with, a very friendly guy and very responsive to my emails and phone calls. He wasn't pushy and gave us a great, no hassle deal on the car. Dan matched the very low price we found at another dealership and threw in a few little extras for us. Dan is fantastic and I highly recommend you visit Putnam Subaru and ask to speak with Dan!

It was my first time buying a new car and I'd spent a few weeks prior to visiting Putnam Subaru emailing Subaru dealers in the Bay Area. I inquired online about an Outback through the website and got a quote within a few hours from Dan Dishart. His quote was the lowest out of the handful quotes I received by a few hundred. Dan was upfront and honest about pricing. He made the process smooth and unintimidating. The whole process from test drive to drive-away took less than 2 and a half hours. Overall, a very positive experience!

Recently purchase a Subaru Outback from this dealership. I worked with Daniel in Internet Sales and the entire purchase was handled exceptionally well as anticipated. I had received several quotes from local dealerships. Several were very comparable so I decided to look up reviews on Yelp and Google to see where I would have the best hassle free experience. I decided to go with Putnam and Daniel after my research and so happy I did. I drove the extra mile (from Larkspur) to get my car. From the initial paperwork to signing with finance to vehicle delivery, this dealership (and Daniel in particular) has it all together. Thanks. I love my new Outback.
