Since 1974, Quaker Steak & Lube® has been the place for anyone looking for hot wings, great food and lots of fun with friends & family.

Story

The original Quaker Steak & Lube® was founded in 1974 in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, Pennsylvania as a “cook your own steak” restaurant. Still smokin’ hot after 40 years, “The Lube®” has been voted Best Wings USA and grown to over 60 locations. Anyone looking for hot wings, great food, lots of fun and a place to be with friends & family can get their fill at The Lube®.

The wait staff was truly attentive and did great attempts at making things right but the kitchen let them down. The pork belly sliders were terrible--purely fat with no actual pork to speak of initially. The side of coleslaw was questionably edible by a person. I also had to send the fries back due to being cold. The wings that came out were phenomenal along with the sauces were equally amazing. The beer came out quick and cold. Location is easily accessible to nearby hotels. Facilities were clean. 3 stars for the staff while the kitchen got 0.

The decor is over the top! Plenty of visual appeal. The ladies restroom was super clean and the decor carried on inside the restroom. The food was good. Service was a bit slow, but it was lunch on a Saturday. Server, Mama P. Was great. Ask for her!

The service was great but the food wasn't. They were not busy at all but it took 40 minutes to make 4 chicken tender meals with fries. Then once we got our food they put an extremely spicy sauce on one plate of the tenders and when we asked our waitress about it (she immediately acted to take care of us) she came back and told us that the kitchen mixed up the bottles of sauce (someone put the most spicy sauce in the bbq bottle). She corrected our order with apologies. Now obviously the kitchen knew that the mistake had been made (they said it was made the day before our visit) so it should've been taken care of to prevent mishaps. Even after all of that the food quality was poor. Fries over cooked and soggy and chicken tenders in bits and pieces instead of actual tenders. Seems like a great fun place to grab a bite but they need to up the food quality because their lack of business while we were there (noon of a Friday) shows that other people have negative opinions about them as well.

I had a bad experience at Quaker this first time I ever ate there in Tennessee. I decided to give it another shot and had the best waitress. She was amazing. She knew the food she checked on us regularly but not to much. The food was fantastic. If you have never ate at a Quakers this one is worth the drive. I cant remember my waitresses name,but if you get her you will know. We drove 200 miles to get there and I will drive it again for no reason to eat there
