I don't know if one star is fair but to me it seems fitting. Though it was probably my own mistake due to ignorance, but I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I went to rooms to go and knew good and well that I wanted to use their acceptance now program. 90 days same as cash is what the poster said and I could most defientely pay what I wanted off within 90 days. The catch is that if you can't pay it off within 90 days it goes to a 3 year finanacing and you'd end up paying triple for your furniture. Again, I knew this and I still decided to go with the 90 day same as cash option. I should've known from the second I went to make the down payment I was making a mistake. They asked for $345 and some change, I said, "well I have $500 right now and I would like to just go ahead and pay that." That way I would have less down the road. The lady looked at me like I was stupid and said "yeah, we don't do that here, $345 is all we will take." Rejecting my money when I owed them the money? That sounded extremely odd to me. Anyway....the full total for the furture came out to around $1600 plus delivery fee and taxes I was looking as just over $1900. My payments were $151.53 I kept my own log each time I made a payment (which I wasn't allowed to make more than $151.53 so sometimes I had to make 4 payments in a row just to add up to close to what I had wanted to pay and after I was lied to being told that I couldn't make 4 payments in a row like that) so anyway after finally paying it all off within the 90 days, let me tell you, I actually ended up spending over $2100 total. That's not 90 days same as cash. Add the HORRIBLE customer service to that and I can garuntee you my boyfriend nor I will ever use them again. So glad I've paid my balance and I can wash my hands of those theifs. Do yourself a favor and just save your money and pay for it out of pocket.
