We've recently visited Iron Rooster for the 1st time, and the food was fantastic. The Corned Beef Hash was not from a can, the grits were well flavored and with great consistency, the Latkes were crisp and flavorful with fresh accompaniments, the egg white omelette was well seasoned and with great presentation, and our server (Chelsea) made us feel welcomed from the time she greeted us until the time we left. She was attentive, personable, and very helpful with assisting us in our meal selections. Although the menu was a bit pricier than we expected it was, overall, a good experience. We'll be back!

Outstanding breakfast. Lots of choice from their menu. There was a wait, but it was worth it. I had the breakfast burrito with home fries. Lots to eat. Others had chicken and waffles (“fantastic”) and fried green tomato Benedict (“excellent “). Very good service and a cool place

Great Diner - not so great restaurant - but at restaurant prices. Went for dinner. The Chicken & Waffles was amazing, yes, would go back for that, even crave. The dirty rice dish & the pop-tarts both mediocre. But at $90 for dinner for two there was not restaurant service nor finesse nor atmosphere. Bright, cafeteria feel. They brought the entrees out after 2 bites into the appetizer, cleared the wine glass instead of asking if we wanted another round and basically made it clear that the goal is to turn tables as fast as possible. Of course that is every restaurant’s goal, but could you at least pretend I am encouraged to take my time and enjoy?? Meh.

Pancakes were delicious. Wonderful bourbon infused butter. Hostess was awesome think she was a manager remembered my name coming and going. Huge portions of food. The biscuits and gravy looked different but were delicious. Would recommend and go back. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars, really loud and hard to hear.

Very friendly service. When in on Memorial Day afternoon and was quiet. Normally when we pass it is very busy with a long wait. The food was absolutely amazing. I don’t even like tomatoes, but the fried green tomatoes were to die for. The queso was very well rounded. My turkey burger was very unique and will definitely have again. I’ve heard the homeade pop tarts are incredible so those are a must try next time!
