Very fun experience. Nice place to be with family. Parking and the walk was free. Signs are posted to guide you through the area. Very beautiful place. Picnic area with tables and grill area with a roof. Pets are allowed.

Awesome place once we figured out how to get down to the rock! There were no direct signs pointing towards the trail so we had to ask several people. There are a lot of steep winding steps leading down to the rock so be careful! And be prepared for a lot of walking! Pee first!

Raven Rock is an amazing place to go hiking and now they even have a mountain biking trail :) They have a slightly newer visitor's center that was built several years ago. Great facilities and restrooms are nice, for well .... outdoor restrooms. The Cape Fear River flows right through the park area. A couple sections of the trail actually go right by the river.

The steps coming back up at the end of the trail are brutal. I also really wish there was some type of place for using the bathroom among the trail. I know that's difficult while trying to maintain the natural beauty but I have been on trails all over the country that are able to accomplish it.

Great intermediate hikes for everyone to enjoy. Majority of the hikes have a wonderful payoff at the end to have a beautiful view of the river. Also has awesome park staff for questions.
