Story

Raven's Den Steakhouse and Taproom is a dream realized for ACF "Vermont-Chef-of-the-Year," Edward St.Onge. For more than 30 years, Certified Executive "Chef Ed" has honed his skills as a dynamic food stylist at several of Vermont's premiere restaurants and now brings his skills to the resort town of Manchester Center, Vermont. He and his wife, Nancy, are excited to open their own Steakhouse and become part of the Manchester Village community. The comprehensive dining room and bar menus, delicious food, "tried and true" wine list, craft beer and relaxed atmoshpere are just a few features that are sure to delight the whole family.

Food & Service is pretty good But the prices are ridiculously expensive.. Just never saw a
kid meal  cost $30+ any where else. ( she take away my bill ..when I signed the credit voucher. I didn’t know it was her intention to mask the prices..) No one wants to start an argument after a meal with family.. they prey on the vulnerability of a tourist.
I honestly think this people are greedy, aggressive and insane.   Look at how aggressive they respond to reviews.  She is rude I can see she can get it on a argument pretty easily.
I haven’t seen or don’t think  any locals eat there.

We had no reservation and they squeezed us in.  I was hungry for a good steak and I had a great one.  The salad bar was awesome too.  Highly recommend stopping by! Great food and very pleasant staff!! I will be back!!!

My husband and I had dinner there tonight.  George, our server, was pleasant, professional, efficient and knowledgeable.  He kept an eye on his customers without being intrusive.  He gets 5 stars!  The salad bar had a nice variety and everything was well seasoned and balanced.  Maple balsamic vinaigrette was slightly viscous and very, very good.  We both ordered the swordfish...plated beautifully and totally delicious!  The accompanying vegetables and rice were equally as good.  Next time, less salad bar to save room for dessert!  We'll definitely go back.  One of the best restaurants in Manchester Center.

Hostess was very friendly and got us seated without a reservation at 5pm on a Friday. Place was packed. Glad she did - food was excellent and there was a lot of it. Salad bar also excellent. Waiter was friendly and professional. It was NOT expensive considering how good the service and food was. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to hostess!!

Great salad bar. Nice atmosphere, many great menu choices. They have a smoker where they cook the ribs. Ribs were good but not great. Steak was great, cooked perfect PITTSBURG RARE. Very large portion, I took half of it home.
