Story

For over 20 years, Chef/Owner Amy Chamberlain has been serving inventive dishes, sourcing ingredients from local farms year round. The Perfect Wife Restaurant features a dining room downstairs, while The Other Wife Tavern offers a more casual pub atmosphere upstairs. The Tavern is known for local beers and live music. It is an ordinary pub/bar with a very casual dining experience and generic menu. The restaurant itself is not anything special compared to the other choices in the area. It was a little strange that a party of two had to wait ten minutes before being seated so that the kitchen would not get to backed up. It was alright but I probably would not choose it again.

We ate at the tavern upstairs, The Other Woman, and loved it. Food was great with a menu beyond just the typical bar offerings. Also there were TVs so we could watch Monday night football in the background if we wanted. We could also see down into the more upscale restaurant below which was a bit of fun people watching. Service was super friendly (Erynn was amazing) and fast and the ambience was upbeat and fun. Prices were not bad at all and we even had dessert. Loved the place so much we each bought a Perfect Wife Restaurant t-shirt before we left. Will definitely come back here next time we visit. Highly recommend!!

This cozy yet elegant restaurant is unlike any place I've ever eaten before. The food is expensive, so be prepared. But the quality of the food is worth it. It is Chef prepared food, so the meals are somewhat small. Ask your waiter or waitress about the history of the building, especially if you're seated in the "basement."

Stopped in for a dinner on the way to skiing.  Had a great 3 course meal.  Will stop by again when we are passing through.
