Founded in 1985, Red Cedar is a Full Service Tree & Landscape Company that prides itself on our commitment to customer service, safety, training and integrity. Our philosophy of learning and constant improvement.

Story

Red Cedar Tree Care division utilizes state of the art equipment (aerial lifts, cranes and chippers) and top climbers to safely, professionally perform pruning, takedowns, cabling of weak leaders, stump grinding, chipping, wood removal. We also work to increase the health of trees and shrubs through fertilization, root zone invigoration, diagnosing and treating disease and insect problems. Where deer or ticks are a problem, we spray safe, organic products.

Our Design/Build includes a Landscape Architect and college trained designers and estimators to create a plan, and work with you within a budget that makes sense.

Our Commercial Lawn Maintenance division maintains the grounds for business parks, hotels, condos, apartments . . .

We had called Red Cedar shortly after a very large tree came crashing down in our yard and onto our fence. The estimate was done within 24 hours and actual removal of that tree and trimming of several others was done within a few days. We were so pleased with the work and thrilled with the fact that they had advised us to wait a few days so the ground had a chance to dry up so that their equipment would not damage our lawn. Even with that, they still put mats down on the lawn to ensure that no damage was done. When they were finished, the yard was cleaned perfectly as if they were never there. Great job and we will surely pass on your name to friends!

I was impressed from the site inspection at East Ricky Lane. We had three trees to cut down and stumps grind and another to be trimmed. The guys were excellent. They walked me through what they would do and answered all my questions. I watched them as they worked. Professionals. Courteous I will be contracting the to cut another tree as well as to do my landscaping. Thank you Red Cedar

I hired Red Cedar to remove 2 large spruce trees and trim 2 large honey locus trees. The did a fantastic job. The crew was quick professional and very meticulous in cleaning up after they were done. I highly recommend them. I will use them again in the future.

Red Cedar has a wonderful team of caring, professional and friendly employees. These guys were really tremendous when it came down to every little detail! First they showed up (confirmed before coming of course) and met us for a quick walk around the yard and free consultation. Not only did they explain what should be done with each of the trees in question, but they also educated us on why it should be done. If in some cases the trees did not need to be removed, they encouraged rehabilitation and maintaining the health of the tree. We hired them on the spot and they came and dropped 6 trees in one afternoon. I was amazed at how precisely and neatly this was done considering the size of the trees. They returned to grind our stumps and the entire job was so affordable and very reasonably priced. They even offered us a "winter discount" since it was a slow time of year for them. They also do landscaping and come to find out they landscaped my parents' home back in 1989.......it still looks great! Super Company, Highly recommended A+++++++ & Thank you!

Can't go wrong with Red Cedar!! Have Mike Barker come out and evaluate your trees, do yourself a favor... he's the try doctor. He'll recommend what really needs to happen with them and the crew will come out and do the work and you'll never even know they were there.... other than the lack of dead or dangerous trees. CALL the leader... Red Cedar!!
