Nice hotel with lots of amenities - a bit quirky. They have a nice looking courtyard and pool, exercise room, restaurant, free breakfast, free parking, nice toiletries, big TV, and comfy beds. It does seem to be showing its age though. The carpets and walls seemed worn and the room was a little bit musty. But I enjoyed my stay a lot. It's right next to the river too which was a great place to go walking. Highly recommend going to the restaurant Sterling's next door.

Really cool hotel with beautiful grounds and a beautiful location along the water. I really like how our room had an exterior door to the courtyard. The breakfast was standard that's slightly better than most. The staff was super friendly in the rooms clean. The price was reasonable and I would definitely stay here again if I need to in Richmond.

Great amenities, nice employees, love the view. The restaurant was closed, but we just went next door for dinner. Overall loved my experience (like every time I come)

Staff was friendly and attentive. Room had a musty odor and cleanliness was an issue as the shower had bath gel on the walls and floor of the tub. Room was also pretty worn out. Felt like a bit out another era...as it may have been nice once but hadn't been updated in ages. That said, the TV was new and one of the bigger hotel room tv's I have ever seen.

We stayed here because a relative was in the hospital nearby. We were so pleased. Nice staff, nice beds, great food in the restaurant/bar and free hot breakfast. We would highly recommend staying here.
