Work shoes and boots are great quality, but sales people just don't know what they are selling. They made me buy a pair of shoes, after trying many different ones, but they didn't feel comfortable. I returned them to the store during the 30 days try period. I got to know later, at the Canton store, that there is something called King Toe, which solved my problem! Why didn't they tell me right away? Because they didn't know!

Horrible. Selection is great but customer service at the location on Medina road in Akron is the worst I have experienced in a very long time. I was in there today and there were 2 people "working." A woman and a man. He stared at the computer monitor and never said a word to me. When I tried to speak to her, she said to me, "I don't have time for that right now. We are in the middle of something important." She then went back to talking to him, which was obviously about money because she was talking about a hundred dollars. I said politely, "okay, thank you, have a nice day." As I proceeded to browse the boots she came over to me and said "May I help you with something?" probably because she was worried about missing a sale, but I had already decided not to buy anything at that point so I told her I was just browsing and she handed me a consumer catalog and went back to what she was doing with the man on the computer. She was not interested in what I had to say and did not have time for me because she was too busy. It was only after she recognized that I was interested in making a purchase that she had time to talk to me but only briefly before going back to whatever it was she was doing that was more important. I like red wing boots a lot, but I highly doubt that I'll ever shop in that particular store and I'll definitely recommend for others not to shop there due to poor customer service.

Great company to deal with - they are top notch with customer service - our men love shopping for their boots with RedWing! Way to go!

worst ever. shoes not correct, returns won't happen, bad customer service and of all things they are slow. I am mad about a company that will not honor the corporate return policy. I want shoes free of defects and merchandise that will work.
