This review is more about Oscar than actually Red Wing. Oscar was extremely helpful. Really took his time and listened. I went in for a boot I found on the internet for over $300 and he actually sold me a pair for about $200 that he said would better fit my needs and would better fit. They didn't actually have the exact boot I needed so he even ordered it for me from another store. Five stars for Oscar! Also I love my new boots.

Bought a pair of boots there the other day. The gentleman who helped me got me any boot I wanted to try till I found one I liked. He then did the same thing with the inserts.

Their company is misleading, I thought I was paying $150 for American made boots. The first pair I purchased were made in China. They said they were waterproof, my feet were constantly wet. They replaced them, with another pair (made in China) but forgot the part where I told them I needed safety toe, so I had to replace them. I spent the extra money to get the $220 pair that were actually made in America. My feet are now wet as I write this review. I will be returning these boots and going back to Walmart, where at least their Chinese boots last longer than a month before my feet start getting wet.

Some of the best customer service. They listen to the smallest detail and pickup of things you have not even thought about. I almost bought a 1/2 size too small that fit, but was snug around my left foot toes. The young woman told me I should try the other size again, even though it was big, and we'll tighten it. She said you would rather have more wiggle room than be too tight in a shoe at the end of a work day. 
Sure enough she was right, and accounting for a few other variables, the bigger size was a better fit. 

You are paying more, but they stand behind their product. I was sent there after not finding what I needed at another store. So did I spend more? Yes. Did I get what I needed? Exactly what I needed and more. 

They have created a loyal customer today.

Also a bit pricey but well worth it. I bought you was here well over 2 years ago and I'm still wearing them. Never owned a pair of shoes that have lasted this long before. And I'm On My Feet 6 days a week 8 hours a day on hard concrete.
