This place is full of meth addicts and dirty old men trying to get down your pants. I was exited after paying the cost of the fee. Watch out for the drug addicts and alcoholics. You'll see them. Flies and cheap lots. Go somewhere else more relaxed and not so intrusive into daily life. You would be doing yourself a favor. Laundromats were flooding, toilets stopping, and its pay to shower. Watch out for the lady in the black car that drives around. Good luck.

This place sucked ! It was way overpriced ( a campground with tons more amenities was only a couple bucks more per night, not far from here ) , most of the staff was rude and the few amenities they did have were either broken or not available during our stay. There were only 6 showers, 3 for men and 3 for women. Only 1, the furthest mens shower worked the whole time (over a month) that I was there. On top of that, you had to pay for the showers (1.00 for 4 minutes), which only took special tokens, not quarters, so hope you got some while the office was open or you were out of luck. The swimming pool ( as you can't and wouldn't want to swim in that nasty "lake" ) was closed during the hottest part of the year. The store/rental office constantly had a "back soon" sign up, making it impossible to buy ice or soda. Then there was the environment. Spiders and flies galore, to the point where you could not step outside without 20 flies divebombing you or leave your RV parked overnight without huge spiders building webs on your windshield or side mirrors. Not tiny spiders, not harmless daddy long legs. No. Big fat unidentifiable gray spiders that looked like a recluse on crack. And the smell...god the smell. Besides the smell from the "lake" (more of a swamp, really) this place is across the street from a dairy farm. Oh yeah- the manure smell could overwhelm any air freshener. Lets see, you can't have a campfire after midnight, even in your little assigned fire pit, the staff will come and complain. Its just ridiculous. I can't imagine anyone but the most die hard catfisherman wanting to spend more time here than it takes to drive thru and out of it. So unless you're looking for a place to hide a body or two, where they won't be discovered for months, since here no one will smell the rotting corpse, DO NOT spend time here. I am just kidding of course. About the hiding bodies thing, not the smell thing. That's 100% true. Seriously, do not waste your money or time here. Email me and I can reccommend a half dozen places within 50 miles of here that are much nicer and some of them are cheaper too ! And in closing, for those that might claim this is some sort of personal vengeance thing, go check it out. When you're done you can come apologize for ever insinuating that I would use the review as a forum for petty squabbles. Everything in this review reflects the time I spent here, if anything I have UNDER described the situation, to avoid anyone claiming that I am exaggerating, that no place could really be THAT bad. In here to tell you that it could be and is, THAT bad. And to those that visit here anyways, because you still don't believe me or for some reason have no choice- I wish you luck and hope you brought PLENTY of industrial strength repellant. Or try my recipe for homemade bug getter-rid-of. It is all natural and safe to use on kids ( as always, avoid getting in eyes or mouth, call poison control if ingested because safe for skin doesn't mean safe to drink people ! ) : Pour 12 oz alcohol, 2 oz witch hazel and 20 drops of tea tree oil in a empty 16 oz spray bottle (adjust amounts to different size bottles. Half the amounts for 8 oz, double for a 32 oz, etc) spray bottle and shake well. If sprayed inside, be ready for every bug hiding in every nook and cranny of your tent or RV to come crawling out, in desperate need to escape the sprays reach. Spray well and often, especially around entrance. To avoid them entering when you do, spray around door before opening, wait 5 seconds for them to clear, then open. I realize some will think that this may not be the place to rave about this spray stuff, but honestly, to anyone visiting Reflection Lake, this bug spray recipe will likely be the most useful part of any review posted yet.

Well I've been here 2hrs and already i feel like we should go! Iam a trooper so i have to say i will wait to the morning and head to the beach! The smell of cow manure is so overpowering you would think the cows anus was in your face. Dont get me wrong the place looks nice! I have seen some shady looking individuels since we arrive, no worries you dont bother me and i dont ruin your day is my moto! They have a deep and disappointing fly problem that was evident as soon as we pulled up, almost like they could smell fresh blood. I figure do to all the cows in the area for miles as you drive in, what else should you expect. The park manage Eva was extremely helpful, and more than willing to explain and show us around. I really have nothing more that i can say other than its probably great for fishing as i saw some people hook a couple of fish. Other than that not a in my opintion a great RV spaot, sorry!

I do love this place but if you came now at this time you would be very disappointed right now with the very low water level of the lake also water is to shallow and warm this year to stock trout this year. We'll water level is way up after the storm flooded for weeks straight, but getting back to normal. They still need to stock the lake for better fishing. But if you like wild life watching the migrating birds is beautiful. As of about 5 days ago on the 18th they stocked lake with few hundred lbs. Of cat fish. Good luck they stocked twice now. Don't miss out. I been doing well
