Ended a cross California road ride in Reno today and needed to box up my bike for a flight back east. The lady I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and polite. When I got to the shop, the fellas that I spoke with were great. They gave me a bike box and packing materials and tools to use out back to pack the bike myself because I was in a hurry. They were  very helpful and friendly. I'm very appreciative of your shop! Thanks for being cool and easy to work with.

Great people. Excellent recommendations if you're just getting into or back into cycling. Local "mom & pop" store that is service oriented.

Edit in 2016: I have continued to do business here and still have the same sentiments. The only thing that has changed is that I have now purchased several bikes from RC&F for family and myself and continue to make this my first stop for all things bicycle. 

2010: I have not purchased a bike through Reno Cycling & Fitness (yet) but I have taken two bikes in for service and received a pro fitting on one of them.  They have consistently impressed me with their high level of customer service and satisfaction.  All promised work was always done on time (or early) at reasonable prices.  I have been most impressed with their mechanic service on both my mid and high end bikes.  Their selection of bikes, equipment, and clothing is nice and their shop very open and friendly.  I feel that these folks would gladly do what they could to make your cycling experience better.  Highly recommend!

Great staff. Very helpful. I went to 3 bike shops looking for a cassette before coming to Reno Cycling and they did not have what I needed it but Reno Cycling did. They even installed it for me. I am sure I will be back. Great service. Thanks

I should have posted this after my first visit.  This is an amazing shop. I've only been in about 3 or 4 times but they always make me feel like I'm a valued customer that's been coming to them for years. I recommend them to anyone looking for a bike or bike equipment.
