I would like to preface everything with the clarity of just how much I was looking forward to being apart of Ribbit computers and purchasing my next computer build from them. I am very passionate about technology and would only write this sort of review if I felt I had been wronged on multiple accounts. I was hired around the 12th or 13th of march after what seemed like a great interview with a very kind gentleman. After filling out the necessary paperwork I head back home on my way and begin to wait for them to give me a call. Weeks go by until I start calling day to day to get a clear answer as to when I might be able to begin, I left my name and number I don't know how many times and enough notes were passed on to probably fill a binder. Eventually my girlfriend decides to investigate considering her worry of my actual employment and goes to the downtown Ribbit Computers to speak to anyone regarding the manner. She happens to speak with the very same person that hired me and confirms that I have indeed been hired, and the next day I finally receive information as to when I might be able to start as well as a pleasant conversation involving where I might be able to fit at Ribbit. I was told "give us a couple months, the schedule is backed up". I was also told (the very next day mind you) my girlfriend was polite and courteous, this is important for later. So I wait a couple months, about two and a half to be exact. I begin the monotony of calling only to leave my name and number over and over, still unable to receive a definite answer about when I will start. I was told to show up for an interview on this very day only to find there is no interview and for them to say I was never hired in the first place. My months of anxious anticipation and excitement to put my best foot forward were all in vain, not to mention I am lied to about my girlfriend's demeanor. I was told she was "loud and screaming" and "wouldn't take no for an answer" which I pointed to earlier was clearly not the case. Bewildered I drive to a friend's house to use their phone to call and clarify the situation and how I perceived it. A side note- I have a cell phone but the microphone is currently broken. While I was inquiring about the hiring process I asked for the necessary part to be ordered, it's been three months now and I have yet to receive that call that's it's in and I hope to never get it. On the phone at my friend's house I cut to the chase. I do raise my voice but only out of frustration, not anger or violent intent. I suggest they messed up, over hired, and now want to pretend I was never hired in the first place out of their convenience without even a sorry that my time was wasted. The person who "interviewed" me today proceeds to threaten to fight me after I ask for a simple apology and says "why don't you come over here and I give you something for me to apologize about" and hangs up. Now that I've been wronged as a customer and potential employee, I want to urge anyone considering to purchase parts for a new computer or seeking computer/phone maintenance at Ribbit Computers to put their money to better use elsewhere, lest they be physically threatened when Ribbit Computers makes a mistake and refuse to own up to it.

Have spent around $300 on repairs here to fix my iPhone 6 Plus. Recently the screen that Ribbit put into the phone started going out. I have not dropped the phone or done anything to cause this to happen. I took it in to have it repaired and they said a mobile repair person could make sure everything was secure in the phone as something was clearly loose. I get a call back 3 hours later stating that I need to replace my screen again when I haven't done ANYTHING to cause it to malfunction. The only company that has touched the phone in the past year has been Ribbit and that was to replace my screen/battery. An employee I was speaking with couldn't help me and put me on the phone with someone who was just as useless. They told me that they wouldn't be able to do anything to help me and that it would cost another $130 to replace the screen and that they can't drop the price because they'll lose money. Their warranty is only 30 days and it feels like everything tends to break 30-60 after this period is over! ILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING I OWN HERE EVER AGAIN.

Was having a bad day when I realized my computer wasn't charging. I went to Ribbit on North Rock and I am now having a good day. Thank You!

Customer service is terrible, Cameron was very rude and even hung up on me.
