Came in on Saturday afternoon, made an appointment for a friend and I. When i arrived, Sarah at the front desk had a terrible attitude. Over the phone i explained to her the services i wanted, but once we were there she said they did not have time and would have to charge me extra! I changed my mind about the services immediately. I have been coming here for 6 years and never experienced the treatment she gave me today. Will no longer return.

I LOVE this waxing salon! I am so sad I moved out of state because everywhere I've looked where I am now charges $60+ for this service and I really think Rio has an amazing staff.  It is clean, their process is sanitary, and they completely understand your need.

Rio Body Wax is my favorite place to get a wax in Athens! The staff is very professional and I always get in and out very quick. Mimi is my favorite and she makes you feel very comfortable!

This was my first time coming here and I was super nervous!! The check in girl was super friendly! The atmosphere is great (inside) and they have music playing in the rooms at all times so it's not too awkward when nobody's talking. Monica did my first time ever Brazilian wax and was very friendly and informative and gave me instructions (which I needed) on what I could and couldn't do. It was definitely a positive experience and not expensive.
