I cannot speak highly enough of Michelle.  I'd read reviews that she was an extremely talented colorist and that she was great at creating edgy modern styles but I'm not that type of client so when I first saw her 4 years ago I was a bit nervous.  She understood exactly what I meant by low maintenance and long enough to get into a pony tail.  Instead of doing a dull, basic cut (that would have been fine with me!) she went above and beyond and explained that with the shape of my face I'd look best with a side part and layers of a certain length and on and on.  When she was finished she showed me that I could still let it air dry and put it in a simple pony or that I had several easy options to dress it up for special occasions.  Before I left she even showed me how to quickly curl it or create a mini blow out that someone of my basic skill level could manage!  Michelle is hands down the best stylist I have come across and I recommend her to everyone I know.

I went to Rocket Salon for the first time and they paired me with Amanda, who is new and training. I was apprehensive at first, being very protective of my hair but I said "What the heck," and went forward with the appointment. I'm so glad that I did because she gave me the most gorgeous choppy bob ever imagined. It is absolutely perfect. I'm so happy with the service and I can't wait to go back to Amanda. Don't rule her out because she is a newbie! Also, with the new stylists you get a lower price, so it is totally worth it!

Amber is the best stylist I have ever been to, hands down!!  The salon has a fun and funky vibe to it that I like, and it fits in with everything in downtown Athens well. I would recommend this salon to anybody.  Rocket Salon Rocks!!
