My food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable! Marcello was my waiter, and he was very conversational. He even provided some tips on what else to do after I left Navy Pier. The bread, new England crab soup and crab cakes were so good! Not to mention, the Ketel One Fizz drink was superb! I highly recommend the trio out to Riva! The views were Stunning!

Our group of 6 had lunch here. I had the clam chowder. Good flavour and texture. I tried the grilled calamari which is a tough dish to get right but it was good. A little pricey but seafood always is.

BEWARE of misleading menu! Combo that appears as "for two" actually means "two orders MUST be placed". Price $ 85.00 listed in BOLD actually NOT for a combo itself, but for EACH of the two orders. Therefore, check came in for $ 170.00. Plus tax and gratuity it costs us more then DOUBLE of prominently listed price of $ 85.00. Very misleading! A long walk to get to it, and overall views, ambiance and friendliness of wait staff was ok. Searching on the web for sea food, brought this place and when we look at menu it showed prices that were about 15-20% lower then prices on the printed menu we were presented. We then learned that online menu was for LUNCH. Be alert and question. Regret that we did not walk away

Our server Jaime was amazing; very attentive and sweet and he made my birthday dinner soo intimate and special. Great food and location and will definitely recommend to others.

Compiling the entire effect of the excellent food, charming service, and beautiful view, Riva was an amazing experience. It is a quiet restaurant perfect for a calm evening out. The seafood(I had lobster) is fresh and well cooked. While I cannot personally speak for the potstickers, my friend ordered them and was pleasantly surprised by both the generous portion sizes and amazing flavor. Our server was accommodating and incredibly gracious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
