If you are looking for a peaceful resort setting look somewhere else. This is a campground and by no stretch of the imagination a resort. The rules explicitly state "anyone operating golf carts/or scooters, whether gas or electric,  must have a valid driver's license". That is not the case. I saw many underage kids driving golf carts with no adult on board. This place is a free for all. I am looking for the river and haven't found it. I am hoping that tomorrow being Sunday, many of these kids daisappear
I will not stay here again and I won't even ask for a refund and go somewhere else because I know we would not get a refund. The sites are close and definetly is not "big rig friendly". I do not mind spending money in resort parks but spending $50 to $70 per night for this, no thank you.

We loved this place and have decided to return this year. Swimming pools are nice. Showers are clean and cedar lined. Campsites are spacious with concrete pads. We love the river front sites. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

#1 on my families camping trips.  My family has seen such great improvements  and amenities  that river plantation offers. We love it and will continue to be back year after year .... clean! Safe! Convenient!

We didn't spend much time there because we were visiting family who where staying there but the place looked nice and very clean. It seemed like a great place to stay.

My wife and I spent over half of September there this year and we loved it. The people there are very nice and helpful, the park is beautiful and very clean. The facilities were top notch too! We can't wait to go back next year. We highly recommend the River Plantation RV Resort to anyone looking for a great place to camp close to the action and quiet just like the country side.
