Whispering River RV Resort is very nice and quite, just like they claim "on the quite side of the Smokies". The bath house is very large with extremely clean private shower access. The "beach" was a neat place to hangout during the heat of the day...and the river is so clear that you could see the trout swimming while sitting on the rocks by the river. Had a great visit and will be back, soon I hope. Had a great time. GOD BLESS.

Nice place, clean bathrooms, and laundry.  Winter hours are limited.  Price is high at 45 a night.  Full hookups.

This is a gem rv resort nice walking and biking close to stores and smokies. Owners go out for you even in spots to make it the best spot fit for rv. I am so happy with clean grounds ands walk  paths long big rig friendly and I didn't really want to write about it to keep it my little special place but is is that fair. They do it right here this is going to become my halfway point to FL long pull thoughts that is why I showed so many pictures open year round.

My husband and I spent over two weeks at Whispering River resort and plan to go back in the future. We enjoyed the open space that has a wonderful view of the mountains, swimming pool, and walks by the river. I did not use the bath house, but did use the laundry facilities. They were keeps clean. The grounds was constantly being maintained.
The staff was nice.

The cable has 30 channels, but we found that the channels were repetitive. So, technically it was more like having 10-15 channels. The only other drawback was the WI-FI signal was very weak. Especially in the evening.

Amazing campground for the R & R that you deserve.  The staff go above and beyond in keeping the grounds beautiful and the atmosphere peaceful!  I can't say enough how much I enjoy the river, the pool, the back porch of the cabin, etc!   The peace and serenity are exactly what I needed! Townsend / Walland is the best location, aka the peaceful side of the smokies;  it is so quiet and relaxing but yet so close to all of the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.  You can enjoy the best of both worlds!  The owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating, you can just tell they enjoy what they do and they appreciate your business.  All in all, we couldn't ask for a better place or better people to spend our time with!  Thank you Whispering River!
