Typically I don’t take the time to write reviews, but In this instance, I believe I should share my frustrations in an attempt to help others avoid what I’ve experienced. After an initial visit for my child to be seen for an upper respiratory infection of unknown etiology, we were initially seen and given prescriptions. After 48 hours, not only did the symptoms persist, but my child seemed to worsen. As per the instructions given by this office, I called in to speak with the Doctor. I was rebuffed and informed the doctor didn’t have time to discuss the matter, but to bring my child in to be seen again. After this I was recharged my co-pay, even though it was for the same illness. Again medications and instructions were given. A Co-pay was also charged. Despite paying twice, and seeing the doctor twice for the same issue, my child’s symptoms did not respond to the treatment. After two session/prescription payments and Co-pays, I was again asked to bring my child In and informed I would have to pay another co-pay. I do not feel that this is prudent practice reflecting patient care as paramount. For the same issue, I am continuing to Have to pay for seeing the doctor over and over again. I feel that after 2 times, the physician should waive the co-pay as this is becoming more about the money than my child’s health.

If you don't have an appointment, the wait is approximatelly 2 hours!! So, if your child is sick they will consider you as a "walk-in" and put you in a waiting room until, they are done with all "the appointments"... My question to Riverside Pediatrics is: how would I know when my child will become sick to make an appointment ahead of time to see the doctor, without long wait? Unfortunatelly this will be our last visit. It is not worth of wait, there are many other great pediatricians that don't make you and your sick child to wait for 2 hours to see the doctor.

Made an appointment but the receptionist never put it in the system and provided the wrong address to Hoboken location. Spoke to manager, came off pretty rude and refused to provide full name.

Dr bansil is awesome, he is awarded patient choice award for many years. The only problem in this pediatric center is waiting time is more than 30 minutes
