I went in to have x-rays in order to get a referral to a dental specialist to pull a severely broken tooth.  Dr. Joe Miller told me he believed he could help me and could save me money by doing it himself.  My tooth was broken at the gum line and he was able to break it in two pieces and remove it within 5-10 minutes.  I told him and his assistant when I left that I was going to tell everyone about him and his wonderful team.  I am doing just that.  My extended family will be paying you a visit.  There is nothing like seasoned veterans doing a job with great customer service.  Dr. Joe..it's me...Ms. Edwards!  Loved your service!  I highly recommend this dentist and his fabulous assistant.

The BEST of the Best! Very clean office and the staff is AMAZING! I will  Never go anywhere else. PRICING ARE VERY REASONABLE! DR. Chris and his staff are very sincere and actually care. (which is hard to find these days!

I have been to Rivertown Dental Care several times. My wife Holly also goes and likes it there, and she is a wimp about pain. We both see Dr. Joe Miller, whose son Chris is also in the group practice. He graduated as a dentist back in 1966, so he has been at it a LONG time, and seems to know his stuff. His Dental Assistant Angie is fantastic, and his Hygienist Tracy does a good job as well. They seem to have the latest tech...they crafted a crown right there while I waited instead of the old practice of a temporary crown and waiting two weeks for the finished product. They water-blast off much of the bad stuff (rather than just pick/scrape it off). It is clear that the entire staff has been schooled to be pleasant and professional. See the myriad positive reviews which attest to this. I concur with the others. Prompt and entirely user-friendly.

I had the most compassionate, thorough and successful care at this office. I went in after having gone several days trying to self-treat a complex ulcer (canker sore) It was getting to the point where I could not eat and was losing sleep because of the pain. I found Rivertown Dental Care online in a quick search as I am new to the area. When I went in, the front desk staff was warm and friendly. It was not long before I was taken back to an exam room. The  dental assistant was very gentle when doing the initial examination and extremely apologetic when she saw the size and degree of my ulcer that they weren't able to get me in sooner to treat it (I didn't even think I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for an appointment -2days- plus I did not mention it was an emergency because I thought it would begin to heal quickly, if I had, I may have possibly been able to be squeezed in sooner). Shortly after, I saw Dr. Chris Miller who quickly and correctly noticed that my one small wisdom tooth was abasing my ulcer causing continuous pain and prolonging the healing process. He promised that by removing the tooth, I would have instant relief. He made me feel completely at ease that on a scale of 1-10 for pain/discomfort in removal of my wisdom tooth for my case it was a 1 or 2. He could not have been more right. Before I left, he applied a treatment on the ulcer that helped to dull the pain and I booked my next appointment for wisdom tooth removal first thing the very next day. I was nervous as I never had a tooth extraction before, but his assistant was extremely comforting and distracted me with a lot of pleasant conversation and reassurance of Dr. Miller's skills and the ease of the procedure. I was numbed sufficiently and  Dr. Miller told me I may feel a slight bit of pressure. I did, though it wasn't pain and lasted only a second. The next thing I know he said that was it. The words that came out of me were  "YOU'RE KIDDING!" And he proceeded to show me my tooth. I literally did not feel a thing and it took all of 5 seconds for the actual removal. The longest and most uncomfortable part of the entire appointment was waiting for the novocaine to set in. Dr. Miller and the entire staff of Rivertown Dental Care are an extremely competent, skillful and caring team of professionals that I would recommend to anyone for any procedure. Looking forward to my next appointment for a regular check up.
