A beautiful and scenic park located just around the corner from Columbia's Downtown Square - this park has got it all! It always seems like something interesting is going on here whether it is Farmer's Market or Concerts in the Park, outdoor movie screenings or the splash pad, and not to mention it's a nice destination for a quite walk or even just lunch! The City of Columbia boasts one the most exciting and forward-thinking Parks & Recreation Departments in the region. The attention-grabbing atmosphere and charm of the City’s signature parks, Riverwalk Park, Woodland Park, Fairview Park, and Ridley Sports Complex are a few landmarks that immediately stand out to all passersby. Well designed, well maintained, and well visited, these parks truly distinguish themselves as must-see locations while in Columbia. Such a high level of care also extends to the smallest mini-parks offered by the city - in total, the City of Columbia has over thirteen parks, three recreation centers, and a pool to round out their offerings to the residents of Columbia and visitors alike. The City of Columbia’s Parks & Recreation Department also stands out for its courteous, helpful, and professional staff. From top-down, the entire administration is topnotch, well-educated, and seemingly always available for questions, as well as to receive and react to comments from the public. I have yet to have a negative interaction with any staff person, in any situation. I can even commend the maintenance staff on being quite approachable and diligent in their work and efforts to keep the parks in such pristine condition. Be it a local or someone just passing through, take the time to stop by one of the parks in Columbia. I can promise you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice medium size park fairly new. Kept up very well. Had a nice time listening to music there the other night. The town also had other things there for people to buy, food, crafts and a artist was drawing people's portraits. Very nice.

We love going to Riverwalk Park! It is one of my favorite places to take our pups and walk around the river. If we could have a dog park at the park, that would make it even better!
