This is a great little beach to launch your kayak from or kayak to, to just hang out and enjoy the view. Good fishing in the mangroves. Clean bathrooms. It is kid friendly, but not pet friendly. Currently there are no parking fees. Come when it's high tide if you want to swim, otherwise enjoy the low tide and all the small fish, hermit crabs, snails and other ocean dwellers. There is a fantastic wooden bird walk that ends in a gorgeous view of the Gulf Harbor.

If you're looking for a beach, this is not the place to go. The water was labeled as having "high bacteria levels" so you cannot swim in it. There isn't much sand. There's some but with a lot of dirt. The park might be fine for kids but I didn't see that area. Also the parking is $2 per vehicle.

Smaller park located on the water. It's never been busy when I've visited. It has a small play area for kids and is fairly clean.

I LOVE MANGROVE TREES! AND THIS PLACE GOT SOME NICE ONES! Also, you can find diamondback rattlesnakes in the woods near the beach. The water doesn't get deep for a good while at Green Key, but during high tide it's more than adequate to Wade out into it and you can do some swimming as there really are no waves if you get out far enough it's basically a hidden and Little gem for those of us locals here in New Port Richey Florida it's not a tourist attraction a lot of these little beaches are basically for the locals

It's not crowded. Nice beach, beautiful sunsets. Playground by beach for the children. A great place to go without the crowds. Very peaceful
