This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. Unfortunately for me it is not a convenient location, so it is a special treat to go. There is almost always a line out the door, and only a small dining area. But the food is worth it! You are eating food that is healthy and tastes delicious. They make all of their dressings too!

Always a delicious place for lunch! The first thing you will notice is the line. As long as the weather isn't terrible, it's worth the wait. And to be honest, they move fairly quick, so you won't be waiting long. All of the designed bowls are creative and fun, easy to substitute out things you either can't or don't want to eat. Vegetarian friendly, for sure, they do the tofu in both miso and BBQ flavors, both good options. And of course,  lots of delicious, fresh items to add, or mix and match your own. The staff work efficiently and will make your food just the way you like it. The drink choices are water or fancier water, so if you want something else, take your food to go. The prices are reasonable, and there is a pretty good amount of seating upstairs. Highly recommend, even if the line looks long!

I absolutely adore Roots! So cute, so delicious. The caliber of this restaurant totally outweighs the massive line and price point (for a casual meal of course). I love the vibe in there it's so wonderful, I wish I could eat Roots every day of the week. The staff is so nice and accommodating, as well as proficient in their work. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Love the food. It’s a bit cramped. It was more clean the last time we visited, but I guess we just stopped in during a very busy period, and you have to remember their staff is comprised of college students who, no offense, probably aren’t as interested in this business’s success as their older counterparts might be. My point is, if you keep that in mind, your expectation might be properly set.

Roots had some of the best bowls I've ever had.  Even though they are usually very busy, the line always seems to move quickly.  Great options for vegans and carnivores alike.
