While I was pleased with the service in the store, after making a very large purchase for my husband, trying to actually pick up the items (after alterations) was a nightmare! I called the store repeatedly, only to be placed on hold by 5 different associates, all of whom clearly didn't want to assist me. After further inquiring about my already purchased items, sitting on hold for 20 minutes, and being transferred 4 times, someone was finally able to assist me. Evidently, Javier is the only capable person in the store.

Rothman's is definitely your high-end men's clothing and accessories store, but there are Herschel bags, fun socks and a great selection of super soft unisex t-shirts up front that meet lower price points. The staff is very friendly and unlike other high end shops, doesn't follow you around being annoyingly helpful.

I went in to buy a suit for my wedding, but was immediately put off by the pushy salesman. He had no interest in what I was asking for and kept trying to push suits twice outside my budget. The salesperson continually disregarded what I said I wanted, and even used threatening language when I said I did not like a certain suit. 

Aside from the horrible service experience, their selection was surprisingly limited for a specialty store, and I was quoted a tailoring service that would take a month and a half (compared to 10 days at a department store)! I ended up going to Bloomingdale's later that afternoon and had a great experience along with a discount - don't waste your time with this place.
