Had Caleb (5403) and Joe (1695) come out for a blocked secondary line.  The guys were great not only fixing the problem, but making sure that it wasn't that problem and something else.  They were personable and didn't make me feel like it was my fault although coffee grounds were the culprit. They also taught me a few things about ways I can can keep the lines from getting mucked up in the future.  Couldn't have been happier.

We had a leak that caused significant water damage.  Despite turning off the main power supply, water continued to flow. We called Roto Rooter which was the only one of three 24-hour companies that would send someone out at 5 pm on a Friday night. 

Chris Wilkins, the technician found the water shut off for the ice maker that was placed in a difficult to find location. 

Because that was the extent of work to be performed he did not charge me. 

Without his assistance significant water damage to two levels would have increased since we could not contain the water. 

I was very impressed with Chris' professionalism and skill.

They get one star for being able to show up the day I called for a simple mainline drain snake service which they would not quote over the phone. The receptionist said the tech would have to evaluate the job before quoting a price. Then the guy who showed up was a manager who tried to upsell  me on their water remediation and cleanup service. A tech final showed up about three hours later and informed me that their "standard charge" would be $479. I'm sure they pull this scam on a lot of people desperate to get the job done and who don't know any better. I got it done for less than $200. There are plenty of plumbers and drain service companies who will give you a phone quote for a simple job. I do not believe the positive reviews for these guys.

Wonderful customer service. Tech arrived on time and was very nice. He was very detailed and explained exactly what needed to be done. I am very happy with their service.

Had 2 inspections done on my tub drain that wouldn't drain. Rotorooter inspected it and said it was $350 worth of work. So I called a local drainage company, and they inspected it as well. Said it was likely just a quick fix/clog and actually took the time to take the drain plug out to assess what it would take. Found some kids toys jammed in there, pulled them out and presto, drains like a champ. Charged me $90 for the service call and the work. Rotorooter was WAY overpriced, and didn't even assess  the problem. Will never use them, or even bother with a quote.
