Route 66 Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center is a family owned Vet ER in Nob Hill. Finally, a Emergency Veterinary Hospital for SE Albuquerque!
Route 66 was once the gateway to the western United States. Developed as part of the early national highway system the roadway first provided hope and inspiration as the pathway west for families looking for new oppurtunities during the times of the Dust Bowl and World War II. It soon became the path for adventure seekers looking west in the 1950s and 1960s. Invoking a sense of promise and adventure Rt. 66 became intertwined with the growth and development of the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is this same promise of opportunity and adventure that has led to the creation of the Route 66 Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center.
Recognizing the desperate need for high quality emergency veterinary care in southeast Albuquerque and desiring to operate our own hospital, Route 66 Veterinary Emergency Critical Care center has been founded by Dr. Jeremy Welcome and Rowan McGehee-Welcome. Located along historic Route 66 in the rapidly growing Nob Hill neighborhood we will create the premier veterinary trauma center in Albuquerque. With a focus on compassionate care and exceptional client service while practicing the highest quality of medicine we will initially provide after hours and critical patient care for the pets of southeast Albuquerque and beyond. Through our mission to create positive change in people’s lives we will integrate ourselves into the Nob Hill community, continually striving to serve in new and expansive ways.
