Story

The SVMC is a full-service small animal hospital for dogs, cats, birds, all small mammals and reptiles. We love what we do - provide top notch care for all our patients in the Corrales, Albuquerque and Rio Rancho communities. Our staff is committed to keeping your pets healthy and happy with wellness care, surgery, dental care, internal medicine cases - you name it. From brand new babies to our special geriatric loved ones, we can be your Other Family Doctor.

I have never had a better experience with a vet than I have here. The doctors and technicians treat my pets as if they were their own. One of my dogs recently started acting very strangely and I rushed her in, without an appointment, and was seen almost immediately. I don't know if the vet wasn't busy or if he had a break, but it made me feel as though I was the only one there. The receptionists are top notch too. They always remember my dogs and treat me like a person, not a bill. Come to think of it, the vets do that as well. I don't feel like a paycheck, I feel like a valued person in there, like they're happy I chose their office out of the many others around town. I can't say enough nice things about this place, and they have our business as long as we have pets.

The Vet was very patient with me and my Sheltie as were the staff. Great people! Got me right in had an appointment and got right in and very responsibly priced services!

The staff at Southwest Veterinary hospital are the most compassionate and honest people around.  When you come in with your baby, they see what you see, your baby, and not dollar signs.  I have dealt with some very bad vets in this town and I feel so blessed to have found the wonderful people at Southwest Veterinary hospital who honestly care about keeping your baby healthy.

We have been taking our animals to Dr. Levinson for so many years, I can't keep track.  He and his staff are fantastic. They have treated my cats and dogs, but even more impressive is the way he's taken care of my bird, Chico. Thanks for everything, you guys!
