Rudy's is a fun BBQ. It's pretty popular so most of the time there's a line out the door, but trust me it's worth the wait. It's such a fun place that time often flies by while you're in line. You might even get lucky and have some of the samples they sometimes offer while you wait. They have coolers full of beers and sodas so you can start to wet your whistle while you wait in line. 

Ordering is fun too. If you mention that it's your first time there, they let you try samples of the meat. Some of my favorites are the lean brisket, chopped beef, and the turkey breast. Go ahead and try both of their sauces. I prefer the original BBQ sauce, but their Sissy BBQ sauce is a sweeter tasty option as well. Each table has both, so you can try them all you want. As for sides, the chili stew and the new potatoes are pretty good as well.

Loved this place! Very casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Got some root beer and BBQ, yum!!Moist bbq brisket was tasty, but a little dry. I usually hate turkey, but so glad they had us sample the turkey here. It was light and delicious! You also must get the banana pudding, I could eat a whole bucket of that! Self serve condiment bar with pickles, onions, and peppers. Bread is free as well!

I love eating at Rudy's. Our family has visited several times and we have tried almost all the sides and meats. I usually get the lean brisket. We get bread to go along with the meal and make our own sandwiches. The toppings bar with onions and pickles is always well stocked. This is a great place to stop after hiking or going to the zoo, or just because it's a day ending in 'Y'.

This place was absolutely awesome!!! The food was superb and quick. I could literally taste the smoke in the meat. We ordered BBQ chicken, BBQ turkey, two baked potatoes, two 🌽, and two vanilla puddings. Customer service was absolutely the best as well. I will definitely be coming back here.

Rudy's is solid. Pretty much what you'd expect, well within the feel of a Cracker Barrel or Texas Roadhouse, reminds me of Famous Dave's in the midwest although it's a counter style diner without waitstaff. Ordering BBQ is easy and done by the pound. Comes with free bread, but you can also get a bun upon request. The corn was solid and both Brisket and Pulled Pork were good and tender. The topping bar is a nice touch, they also have good tea.
