I'm really sad to write this review, honestly. I tried writing one yesterday and probably was more agitated so I'm glad whatever happened it didn't go through. 
Anyway, I've had my hair cut here 3 times, and have had only 1 outstanding experience and I'm not sure of the stylists name but her station is the far left station when you walk in. I have kinda curly./very wavy hair, and always ask how stylists are with cutting that kind of hair. The response I received was that they are all equally qualified, which is not true. 
So, anyway, I also have very thick hair, and its coarse so I wash my hair maybe sometimes once a week, or it can span that over two weeks, I wash my hair 3 times, which is what happened in this case. 
When the girl cut my hair, she did something weird to my layers, but I requested my hair get straightened so it would look nice for a wedding. After longer than their 3 day grace period and returning to town after the wedding, I wash my hair and something weird was done with my layers. Th e shorter layers puff out on my shoulders a bit and then my longer layers just kind of hang there in the back and it looks SO AWKWARD, but to be sure I wanted to have washed my hair more than twice to make sure it was not user error or just a bad hair day. So two weeks later after 3 washes I can confirm that it is not my issue and it really is how my hair has been cut. I call the salon to see if it can be fixed, and am told its outside of the grace period to be cut for free, annoying but I do understand, but honestly expected it to be at a discounted rate because it was a bad hair cut. I was offered 10% off (laughable!) and given pseudo-niceness over the phone when declining (*cheerfully * okeeeeeyyy thanxxxxxxsssss* which is just rude and condescending). I'm not trying to get a free haircut, someone messed my hair up that works there, and sure I could have come in last week, but I only washed my hair once by the end of last week. Because my hair may have grown "just a little bit" in two weeks. So anyway. I have an appointment down the road to get my hair fixed today, and will have spent over $100 in the past two weeks just because I want decent healthy hair. I will not be returning to Salon 135, mainly because of the way this situation was handled, and also the girl on the phone, though she tried to be helpful in asking because she can't offer up discounts and things, but the way she ended the phone call was so unprofessional and rude and unnecessary. Note: if someone is upset about an experience they had at your establishment you probably shouldn't feign niceness to that level because it really is condescending. So if you do go here and you do have at least curly-ish hair. The girl who messed up my layers was SUPER nice, and this is by no means a not returning because of her because I can deal with a bad hair cut that can always be fixed, but I cannot deal with a rude receptionist and poor company policies.

I have curly hair that is difficult to cut but Ann gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! Ann also cuts my husband's hair and even with his shoulder length hair ( which many have cut poorly) she did an amazing job!
2-27-17 Just got another great hair cut from Ann-- said I wanted it shorter and I love it!  If I could give her 10 stars I would!

Great salon in a easy location to walk to from campus or other parts of downtown. Always seem to have an appointment when I need one.

I've been a customer for 20 years. Great vibe, excellent haircuts for men and women, good prices. I take my young daughters here as well and am always able to get simultaneous appointments. Very helpful front desk staff.
