We are also trained to design beautiful formal styles and makeup for your special occasion.

We provide an Italian product and color line by Davines for our client’s hair satisfaction. Davines guarantees “sustainable beauty” from their choice of ingredients to maintaining zero impact on the environment. Davines also offers ammonia free color, awesome grey coverage and great shine.

I had the BEST hair experience at Dragonfly! The staff are amazing and the experience was great. Another high-end salon in town had left my hair looking like I had bleached it (NOT what I had asked for) and I didn't know if it could be repaired. Caitlin assured me that I was in good hands and I couldn't be happier! CAITLIN IS AMAZING!!! Not only did she fix my hair, but she mixed colors so flawlessly and my hair is the EXACT colors of the picture I showed her - and the picture I showed her was a bit complicated - Caitlin didn't hesitate, didn't tell me it was too complicated - but confidently and flawlessly cut, and colored my hair - EXACTLY what I wanted!!!! Go to Dragonfly!!! :)

If I could give them half a star I would. I once was a satisfied, return-customer here, until a few months ago. First of all, their receptionist mistakenly scheduled my cut and color with someone I had never seen before, even though I asked for my usual stylist. After 3 hours of having my hair colored (took way too long) I realized I was extremely unsatisfied with it. I was very sick that day and didn't have time for them to reapply color. I called back saying I was disappointed with the color, as it was not what I asked for, and because I could barely tell a difference in appearance at all. They told me to come back in, that they would "fix it" for free. I came back the next week, discussed my hair with the same stylist and after 20 minutes of sitting in a salon chair, the manager, quite loudly, in a room full of people, said I'd be charged for any touch ups because it essentially wasn't their fault. Unfortunately, the manager talked to me like I was a confused child and took no responsibility for what she called a "miscommunication". I decided to leave because I found this very insulting, and I didn't have money for the "touch ups". So, I left the salon without any consolation, having paid $200 for a cut and color that could not be differentiated from my natural color, and having spent 3+ hours of my Saturday morning, when I should've been at Urgent Care, to be publicly belittled and ripped off by this salon. Needless to say, I will never give these people my business again, nor could I ever recommend their services.

After several years of searching... I found Salon Dragonfly. The atmosphere is casual yet sophisticated and the skill of the stylists are top notch. I refer my friends, colleagues and even strangers to come here. It is the best!! I promise that this is not a paid review, I rarely write reviews, too! Keep it up gals and guy! I'll be booking my return appointment soon.

Adam cut my hair today, best haircut of my life! I have very long thick hair, and he did an outstanding job with long layers! He was very detail oriented, and really put great effort into making sure every layer was perfect! I so appreciate his work, and as I am new to Asheville I'm happy I found the perfect salon!!
