Story

Swell Salon is where you want to be. It is an environment where both men and women feel welcome and comfortable. We offer services ranging from cuts to color to facial waxing and also special-occasion styling. Our goal is to not only give you a style you love but for you to enjoy every moment spent in our salon.

After initially hiring Hannah to do my hair for my wedding, I was pretty bummed to find out she wouldn't be able to do it because of a childcare conflict. Hannah set me up with her associate, Nicole, and assured me that she would do a fantastic job. And that she did! I was able to do a trial with Nicole a few weeks out, and had her do an updo similar to one I had found online. It was beautiful, but after wearing it the rest of the day, I decided it just didn't feel like me. So going into my wedding day, I still didn't really know what I wanted. Nicole and I were able to discuss options, and ultimately decided on a look that would be special but also allow me to feel like myself. Nicole did an incredible job of dealing with undecisive me, and creating a look that I absolutely loved, and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Hannah and Nicole, for your patience, flexibility, professionalism, and artistry.

Nicole did my hair trial and my hair style for my wedding day, and it was beautiful. I was nervous because I have natural curls, and she incorporated my curls into the up-do. My hair was much shorter during the hair trial, and she was still able to come up with a concept that worked really well for the wedding months later. She incorporated flowers from my florist, and the idea matched the style of my dress and the vibe of our outdoor wedding. My hair stayed in place, and it was just lovely. Nicole is easy to talk to, supportive, and great at what she does!
