Crime and theft run rampant on my street. Cars are routinely broken into, bikes, motorcycles, scooters, they are all constantly stolen. Who do we get? Parking enforcement. The last guy that drove up my street had mariachi music full blast on his stereo, and drove well above residential speed limits. He was extremely rude, and walked, talked, and acted like he was a police officer. Screw these guys. Good to know that the ones the city employs to hand out these BS tickets don't even abide by the rules of the road. On behalf of my entire street, thanks for all the stupid parking tickets.

My son, who has paranoid schizophrenia and is now confined to Utah State Hospital - had my vehicle parked in the Avenues - where he lived at the time. One night the van, which was legally parked was fined and almost towed. My son paid the tow to release, but the ticket was not revoked (apparently it was parked in the same spot for more than 48 hours?) - which he wasn't safe to drive anymore at that point. Either way, I'm now being taken to small claims court two years later to pay the parking fine which I wasn't present and informed to pay - haven't had the time or money to deal with. I'm good for a class action. This is the type of crap that our forefather's left England from. Taxation without representation.

Was parked legally... On a SUNDAY. Was targeted by diamond parking only because we have out of state plates. I find it strange that SLC uses a private company to enforce parking... Conflict of interest.

I agree with Justin. The parking in downtown Salt Lake is a joke. I called parking enforcement to report a tan Nissan Murano illegally parked near a fire hydrant in front of my apartment building the other day, and it took them 2 hours to show up and issue a citation. Totally unacceptable.

I live in California. The parking right in front of this agency is a parking trap. There is a "no parking" sign pointing to the right. So if you park to the left of the sign which implies legal parking, you get a ticket for parking within 5 ft of a fire hydrant which is actually 14 ft from the curb. This is how you treat visitors????
