My wife's favorite campground yet! The campground is very well maintained. There's a fire pit at every site and the sites are very large. We went at the end of April which was a little cold for swimming but the springs were awesome! My son had a blast. I noticed they had a strict no alcohol policy by the swimming area but I guess that's most state parks. ( Police checking coolers) We would definitely come back here. Also only $31 a night.

Salt Spring is a very nice place to camp. All in all, the spring is very nice and yes, there is no service at all unless you have Verizon and you'll maybe get one bar. The spring is of course cold to my South Floridian self, but there are a lot of activities to do such as hiking and you can rent pontoon boats not too far away. Some people say that if you wake up early enough and go to the spring you may be able to see otters but I was not lucky enough to see them. There are no biking trails but hiking trails. If you do Camp, they allow dogs and you can keep them in your tent while you go to the spring but if they are outside they must be on a leash! All in all, it was a great experience !

Very nice campground. Clean, well kept, nice firepits and bear boxes to store your food. Super hot water to wash dishes and very clean bathrooms. Lots of shade at sites. Keep your food locked at night, pretty robust population of raccoons.

Beautiful wilderness in Florida. Great RV park in National Forest. Large level sites. Clean and well maintained. Discounted camping with National Parks Senior access pass.

What a beautiful space! The facilities were clean and there was even hot water for washing dishes. I tented there for a night and I can’t wait to go back. I only wish the spring had lights at night - would have loved a night swim. The springs are so pretty, the water slightly salty. The area just passed the spring was noisy and bright from fishing boats instead. I also wish we couldn’t hear traffic (and monster trucks?) from the nearby highway at night.
