Large music store, full of pretty much whatever you need to make music. This is a true musical instrument, recording, and PA supermarket. If you want to get your hands on a piece of musical gear and actually try before you buy, this is your place. Excellent prices and generally good, prompt service - although you may need to approach someone to ask for assistance. That's not a knock, btw. I would prefer to not be assaulted by aggressive sales people, and they are generally more sales consultants here than in-your-face, pushy sales people. Surprisingly  good selection of boutique guitar pedals.

I went during a quiet time Thursday afternoon around 3 pm and had all the help I could ask for. Went to three different departments. Found what I was looking for in two and made my purchases. The third department didn't have what I needed but had other items that might work. So it came out of the package and we tried it out with what it would be used for. It didn't work, but now we both know it won't do everything. So I made two purchases, got educated in what a goose-neck can get away with, and left. All under 30 minutes. Excellent help in all three departments. Thanks SA.

I went there to get my husband an electric guitar and to get an old acoustic one repaired. Gary took very good care of making sure I had gotten all I needed and never once made me feel foolish that I knew absolutely nothing about guitars. He was very attentive and helped with my selection, and was also watching my budget with me. Other employees there were also checking to make sure I was getting taken care of. Very cool place!

I let the guitar employee know that i am not looking to buy a guitar today but am looking for a new one.  After about an hour and a half of me trying several different guitars in the $150-$400 price range, in a rude smart ass tone he said " still looking at guitars???"  like he was about to tell me to leave. 
I took it as a hint.  I left, and wont be buying a guitar there.

A new guitar is a big investment.  I should be able to play as long as I want!
