We went to have dinner at Smokey Joe's, group of 5. We were promptly seated and the waitress was quick to take drink orders. After some deciding from us she took our orders and had great personality in tending to us. The food arrived within a reasonable time and was surprisingly very good. Casino floor is not very clean or pleasant to the senses, but a good variety of games. All who gambled came out ahead. A great visit.

The location is, of course, right off of the river. It has to be because Casinos are only allowed on said river. The rooms are beautiful and, as far as I could tell, well kept. I didn't feel the usual discomfort of sleeping in a dirty bed that I get in other hotels. The casino was a ton of fun. I'm not a big gambler and this was my first casino experience, but I had a blast. My only disappointment was that there was no Texas Hold 'Em. The slots were enough to keep me entertained for hours, however. The only place I ate inside the hotel was the buffet. It was not the best food I have ever had, but it wasn't low quality like golden corral either. Overall worth a stay, if you ask me!

Rooms were very clean and the beds are so comfortable. When my family first got there, we had problems with the air conditioning not working correct but, we let the front desk know and maintenance came right away to fix it. There was plenty of security everywhere so I felt safe at all times. The casino staff was excellent. Will definitely be back to Sam's Town.

Very spacious rooms and the staff were all friendly and polite. It was my wife's birthday and only one staff member wished her a happy birthday  though. 
Told the front desk twice about our toilet stool being very loose and a possible fall risk. The counter staff took notes and sent maintenance up to repair while we were out of the room. Came back to find it a little better but still loose from the floor and also the tank to bowl area. Notified staff again at checkout so hopefully to prevent a guest getting injured from broken toilet. Under the edge of our bed skirting was rose petals from a previous guest that occupied our room before us....wondering if anything else was left not cleaned? 
Casino was not bad, we have been in better and worse. Security for the entrance was overly "bossy" for walking the "wrong" direction in and out of casino plank way. Really it is one wide area with a divider down the middle and we were the only two getting on and off at that time but yet forced to turn around and go the right side, seemed unnecessary for the cost we spent at the casino and hotel.

Hotel was awesome, hotel staff was the best. Buffet closed early and the staff at the deli was not so great. But waitress and staff at Smokey Joe's was great! I highly recommend breakfast there!
